AUGUST 7, 2010 KINGFISHER OPEN - MEMORIAL VOLLEYBALL TOURNAMENT, YORK, PA
Clark Fisher, an athlete and a non-smoker, was diagnosed with lung cancer in early 2009. On November 12, 2009, he lost his battle with this disease. To honor his memory, friends of Clark Fisher started the Clark E. Fisher Memorial and the 1st Annual KingFisher Memorial Volleyball Tournament. Clark loved his family, friends and volleyball, so we've decided to bring together all the people and things that were important to Clark with the goal of helping other cancer patients. The proceeds raised at this event will be donated to the Cancer Patient Help Fund (a local organization in York) and Lung Cancer Foundation of America for lung cancer research.
